These Terms apply to:
- Tie-Up Shops;
- Repair Shops;
- Service Centers;
- Independent Technicians;
- Home Service Technicians;
- Mobile Technicians;
- Specialized Repair Providers;
- Other service providers approved by PowerFix.
Specific requirements may vary depending on the Partner Type, service category, location, and separate written agreement.
2. DEFINITION OF A SERVICE PARTNER
Tie-Up Shop or Service Center
A business location approved to receive and perform PowerFix-related services.
Independent Technician
An individual technician approved to accept specific repair or technical jobs.
Home Service Technician
An approved technician authorized to perform eligible services at the client's home, office, workplace, or other approved location.
Specialized Service Provider
A technician, shop, specialist, or business approved for specific advanced or specialized services.
All are collectively referred to as "Service Partners."
3. INDEPENDENT SERVICE PROVIDER STATUS
Unless separately employed by PowerFix under a written employment arrangement, a Service Partner participates as an independent service provider.
Approval does not automatically create:
- An employer-employee relationship;
- A franchise relationship;
- An agency relationship;
- An exclusive territory;
- A guaranteed salary;
- A guaranteed number of bookings;
- A guaranteed income.
Separate employment, franchise, exclusive territory, or business arrangements must be covered by a separate written agreement.
4. OTHER POWERFIX PROGRAMS AND ROLES
PowerFix may operate additional programs and roles separate from the Service Partner Program. These programs are governed by their own eligibility requirements, operational policies, agreements, and internal guidelines.
Approval for one program does not automatically grant approval, access, or participation in any other PowerFix program.
4.1 POWERFIX EMPLOYEE
Individuals applying for employment with PowerFix acknowledge that submitting an application does not create an employer-employee relationship.
PowerFix may require interviews, examinations, background verification, reference checks, skills assessments, medical examinations where permitted by law, and other reasonable hiring procedures before any employment offer is made.
Employment is subject to:
- PowerFix hiring requirements;
- Applicable employment contracts;
- Company policies;
- Employee handbook;
- Confidentiality obligations;
- Applicable labor laws.
Applicants understand that PowerFix may reject, defer, or discontinue any employment application at its discretion, subject to applicable law.
Only a written employment agreement signed by both parties establishes an employer-employee relationship.
4.2 POWERFIX FRANCHISEE
Applications to become a PowerFix Franchisee are subject to separate evaluation and approval.
Submission of a franchise application does not guarantee:
- Approval;
- A Franchise Agreement;
- An exclusive territory;
- A protected service area;
- Guaranteed profitability;
- Guaranteed customer volume.
Approved Franchisees may be required to execute a separate Franchise Agreement governing:
- Franchise fees;
- Branding;
- Operations;
- Training;
- Marketing;
- Quality standards;
- Territory;
- Performance requirements;
- Renewal conditions.
Until a Franchise Agreement has been executed, applicants have no authority to represent themselves as an official PowerFix Franchise.
4.3 POWERFIX TRAINER
PowerFix may approve qualified individuals to conduct technical, operational, business, customer service, or other authorized training programs.
Trainer applicants may undergo:
- Skills evaluation;
- Teaching demonstrations;
- Technical assessments;
- Interview;
- Background verification;
- Certification review.
Approved Trainers must:
- Deliver only approved training materials;
- Maintain professional conduct;
- Protect confidential training content;
- Avoid misrepresenting certifications;
- Follow PowerFix quality standards.
PowerFix may suspend or revoke Trainer status where training standards are not maintained.
4.4 POWERFIX TRAINEE
PowerFix may accept individuals into internship, apprenticeship, technical training, certification, or other educational programs.
Acceptance into a training program does not guarantee:
- Employment;
- Certification;
- Franchise approval;
- Service Partner approval;
- Future business opportunities.
Trainees agree to:
- Participate honestly;
- Complete assigned learning activities;
- Follow instructor guidance;
- Respect confidential information;
- Properly use PowerFix equipment and materials;
- Observe workplace safety rules;
- Comply with applicable program requirements.
PowerFix may remove a Trainee from a program for serious misconduct, repeated violations, academic dishonesty, safety concerns, or other legitimate reasons.
4.5 SEPARATE AGREEMENTS
Employees, Franchisees, Trainers, and Trainees may each be required to accept additional agreements, manuals, policies, codes of conduct, operational procedures, or program-specific terms.
Where a separate written agreement exists, that agreement shall govern the specific program together with these Terms to the extent they are consistent.
4.6 NO AUTOMATIC CONVERSION
Participation in one PowerFix program does not automatically create or convert participation into another program.
For example:
- A Service Partner is not automatically an Employee.
- An Employee is not automatically a Franchisee.
- A Trainer is not automatically a Service Partner.
- A Trainee is not automatically hired as an Employee.
- A Franchisee is not automatically authorized to provide every PowerFix service.
Separate approval and, where applicable, separate written agreements are required for each role.
5. APPLICATION AND VERIFICATION
Applicants must provide complete, accurate, and truthful information.
Depending on the Partner Type, PowerFix may request:
- Valid government-issued identification;
- Identity verification;
- Proof of address;
- Contact information;
- Emergency contact information;
- NBI, Police, or Barangay Clearance;
- DTI or SEC registration;
- Business permits, when applicable;
- Shop photographs;
- Business location;
- Tools and equipment list;
- Skills and services list;
- Years of experience;
- Training certificates;
- Sample work or repair portfolio;
- References;
- Payment account information;
- Other information reasonably necessary for verification.
PowerFix may require additional verification before or after approval.
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval.
6. TRUTHFUL INFORMATION
Applicants and Service Partners must not submit or use:
- Fake identification;
- Fake documents;
- False business information;
- False addresses;
- False skills;
- False experience;
- Fake certificates;
- Fake reviews;
- Fake transactions;

Service Partners may update their skills as they gain new training and experience.
New skills may require:
- Admin review;
- Certificate submission;
- Technical assessment;
- Interview;
- Repair demonstration;
- Training completion;
- Temporary limited access.
Newly added skills may remain pending until verified.
PowerFix may notify authorized administrators when a Partner changes or adds skills.
9. ACCOUNT SECURITY
Service Partners are responsible for protecting their accounts.
They must:
- Keep passwords and OTPs confidential;
- Never share account access;
- Never allow unauthorized persons to accept or perform jobs under their account;
- Report suspected unauthorized access immediately;
- Keep account information updated.
Jobs accepted through an account may be treated as the responsibility of the registered account holder, subject to investigation of reported unauthorized access.
10. SERVICE AREA, SCHEDULE, AND AVAILABILITY
Service Partners must maintain accurate information regarding:
- Shop location;
- Service area;
- Home service coverage;
- Working hours;
- Available dates;
- Booking capacity.
Partners should not accept bookings they cannot reasonably fulfill.
Repeated no-shows, unjustified cancellations, false availability, or failure to respond may affect booking access.
11. ACCEPTING A BOOKING
Before accepting a booking, the Service Partner should review available information regarding:
- Device type;
- Exact model, when available;
- Reported problem;
- Requested service;
- Location;
- Schedule;
- Parts requirement;
- Estimated charges;
- Payment status;
- Special instructions.

Depending on the job, this may include:
- Diagnostic fee;
- Service fee;
- Down payment;
- Home service fee;
- Rush fee;
- Parts payment;
- Special-order payment;
- Other approved charges.
A verbal promise to pay does not automatically constitute confirmed payment.
14. CLIENT TERMS AND INFORMED AUTHORIZATION
Before opening or repairing a device, the client must be given reasonable access to the applicable Client Repair Terms & Conditions and must provide the required authorization.
Service Partners must not:
- Force acceptance;
- Hide material risks;
- Misrepresent the condition of a device;
- Make unauthorized guarantees;
- Mislead clients about expected results.
Client authorization should be properly recorded through an approved process.
15. PRE-REPAIR DOCUMENTATION
Before opening or servicing a device, its condition must be documented as reasonably applicable.
Documentation may include:
- Front and back photographs;
- Side photographs;
- Cracks;
- Dents;
- Scratches;
- Missing screws;
- Bent frames;
- Broken glass;
- Signs of liquid exposure;

- Sensors;
- Keyboard;
- Trackpad;
- Ports;
- Other device-specific functions.
If testing cannot be completed because the device is locked, has no power, is severely damaged, cannot boot, or has another limiting condition, this should be documented and the client must be informed that the device cannot be checked, and other issues may arise upon reviving the unit.
17. DIAGNOSTIC STANDARDS
The client's reported issue is not automatically the final diagnosis.
Service Partners should distinguish between:
- Client-reported symptoms;
- Initial visual findings;
- Confirmed diagnostic findings;
- Possible hidden damage;
- Additional issues discovered during repair.
Major repair recommendations should have a reasonable technical basis.
Unnecessary repair or replacement recommendations are prohibited.
18. DIFFERENT OR ADDITIONAL FINDINGS
If the actual findings differ materially from the client's original declaration, the Service Partner should:
- Stop unauthorized additional work;
- Document the new findings;
- Update the Job Order or transaction record;
- Explain the recommended action;
- Provide any additional quotation;
- Obtain client approval before continuing.
19. NO ADDITIONAL WORK WITHOUT APPROVAL
A Service Partner must not perform additional paid work, replace additional parts, or materially increase the approved charges without proper authorization.
Approval should be recorded through the official system whenever available.
Unauthorized additional work may be subject to review and may not automatically be chargeable to the client.
20. PARTS, SERVICES, AND PRICE LISTINGS
Approved Service Partners may be allowed to publish or upload:
- Services;
- Parts;
- Part descriptions;
- Part quality or classification;
- Warranty information;
- Prices;
- Stock availability;

- Refurbished;
- Replacement;
- Aftermarket;
- Used;
- Other clearly disclosed classifications.
An aftermarket or replacement part must not be knowingly represented as genuine original.
21. PARTS AVAILABILITY
A Partner should not represent a part as available when:
- It is not actually available;
- Supplier availability has not been reasonably confirmed;
- The listed price is no longer valid;
- The stated preparation time cannot reasonably be met.
Changes in availability should be updated as soon as reasonably possible.
22. CLIENT-SUPPLIED PARTS
When a client provides their own part, the Service Partner should document its apparent condition and compatibility before installation.
Unless otherwise expressly agreed, the Service Partner's responsibility is generally limited to the workmanship performed and does not extend to defects, lifespan, quality, or compatibility issues inherent in a client-supplied part.
However, labor does not have a warranty when the client supplies their own parts. Regardless of whether the parts are working or defective, the client must still pay the labor fee.
This does not remove any rights that cannot legally be waived.
23. POWERFIX-SUPPLIED PARTS
PowerFix-supplied parts must:
- Be verified before installation;
- Not be substituted without approval;
- Be properly recorded;
- Be reported if defective;
- Not be used for unauthorized jobs.
Parts and inventory discrepancies may be investigated.
24. REMOVED PARTS
Removed parts remain the client's property unless:
- The client voluntarily agrees otherwise;
- The part is subject to a properly disclosed exchange arrangement;
- The part is required for an approved supplier warranty process;
- Safety or legal requirements require another form of handling.
A Partner must not secretly retain, sell, substitute, or reuse a client's component.

- Theft;
- Unauthorized access;

The Tie-Up Shop is responsible for ensuring that its personnel handling PowerFix transactions comply with applicable standards.

A PowerFix job must not be secretly transferred or subcontracted.
When another specialist is required, the transfer must be properly authorized and documented.

- Blame another technician without evidence;
- Pressure clients into unnecessary repairs.
36. NO OFF-SYSTEM TRANSACTIONS
A Service Partner must not intentionally bypass the PowerFix system by:
- Asking a PowerFix-generated client to cancel and transact directly;
- Offering an undisclosed direct price to avoid the platform;
- Hiding payments;
- Creating false cancellations;
- Falsely marking paid work as unpaid;
- Moving PowerFix-generated repeat transactions outside the system for the purpose of avoiding applicable obligations.
Suspected violations may be investigated.
37. PAYMENT COLLECTION AND RECORDING
Payments must follow approved PowerFix procedures.
Service Partners must not:
- Collect unauthorized charges;
- Hide payments;
- Change approved prices without authorization;
- Misrepresent payment status;
- Fail to record required collections.
38. PARTNER FEES, COMMISSIONS, AND REVENUE SHARING
The applicable commercial arrangement will be disclosed through the Partner's approved program, booking, dashboard, or separate agreement.
Different arrangements may apply depending on:
- Partner Type;
- Labor;
- Parts source;
- Service category;
- Promotions;
- Discounts;
- Refunds;
- Payment processing;
- Other disclosed adjustments.
Because different Partner programs may have different commercial terms, no single public revenue-sharing rate is guaranteed by these Terms.
The applicable confirmed arrangement for a specific Partner or transaction will govern, subject to correction of verified errors and applicable law.
39. PARTNER WALLET
Where a Partner Wallet applies, it may be used to record authorized platform-related credits, charges, adjustments, or obligations.
Applicable wallet rules will be disclosed to the Service Partner.

- Repaired function;
- Relevant device functions;
- Known remaining issues;
- Limitations;
- Recommendations.
Whenever reasonably possible, the client should be given an opportunity to inspect or test the device upon release.
42. WARRANTY
Warranty coverage depends on:
- Service performed;
- Part used;
- Warranty stated in the Job Order;
- Specific transaction terms;
- Applicable law.
Warranty generally relates to the specific repaired or replaced component and does not automatically cover unrelated issues.
Warranty claims may require inspection.
Coverage may be affected by circumstances such as:
- New physical damage;
- New liquid exposure;
- Unauthorized tampering;
- Subsequent repair by another party;
- Misuse;
- Unrelated electrical damage;
- New or unrelated defects;
- Client-supplied part failure.
Nothing in these Terms removes consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
43. BACKJOBS AND REPEAT ISSUES
When an issue is reported after repair, neither the client nor the technician should be automatically blamed.
The device may first require assessment to determine whether the concern is:
- A covered backjob;
- A defective replacement part;
- A workmanship issue;
- Related hidden damage;
- New damage;
- An unrelated issue;
- Client-caused damage;
- No fault found.
The Service Partner must reasonably cooperate with the review.

- Recovery of every file;

- PowerFix;
- Service Partner;
- Parts provider;
- Client;
- Shared responsibility.
No provision in these Terms is intended to remove rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
